Core i3-3217U Benchmark

The Intel Core i3-3217U is one of the cheapest Ivy Bridge processor for ultra books. It runs at 1.8GHz clock speed and comes with turbo boost module deactivated. How, the CPU is still speedy and is able to score massive 2660 in the Passmark benchmark test. Like other Ivy Bridge processors, the Core i3-3217U comes with integrated Intel Graphics HD 4000 that do a decent job in handling the full HD videos and games at low detail.

Core i3-3217U Benchmark

Intel Core i3-3217U has 3MB of L3 cache and 512KB L2 cache. Lenovo lately upgraded its U310 ultrabook with this CPU. The same company will also be offering it in U410 ultra book. Other benchmark results:

Core i3-3217U review

This processor will definitely bring the ultrabook to the masses as its low price will allow the computer manufactures to sell ultra books at even lower prices without hurting the user in the performance department. The ‘expensive’ Core i7 2617M got 2972 in the passmark test and i3 3217U got 2660. Wonderful.
